'A little about QMA -- Quarter Midgets of America'
Quarter Midgets of America is a non-profit organization with over 2,500 family memberships and approximately 4,000 drivers. There are 13 Regions in our organization and 50 Quarter Midget Clubs Nationwide. We are definitely the "best kept secret" you''ll ever come across. Boys and girls ages 5 through 16 drive open wheel race cars, scaled down to 1/4 the size of a full midget race car. For more information see How to Get Started right here on this website.

Quarter Midgets of America is a strong National organization that specifies engine, chassis, safety, track and driving regulations. This sport has grown from a backyard curiosity into one of the largest, best organized, most rewarding and safest sport a family can participate in. Since it's inception, Quarter Midgets of America has enjoyed one of the finest safety records of all organized sports for children. Boys and Girls ages 5 to 16 drive open wheel race cars, scaled down to 1/4 the size of a full midget race car. QMA is divided into 16 different classes and divisions ranging as follows: Jr. Novice, Sr. Novice, Jr. Honda, Sr. Honda, Heavy Honda, Light GX160, Heavy GX160, Junior Superstock, Senior Superstock, Light Mod, Heavy Mod, Light B, Heavy B, Light A and Heavy A.

Many people after seeing their first race feel that they are seeing a group of children far above average in ability. Most of us in the sport remember when we had the same impression. True, some drivers develop faster than others but almost all become skilled, competitive, alert and safe drivers. It is almost 100% certain that your child will too.
